I’ve been artistic my whole life, and developed a love of makeup at a very early age. I grew up in Atlanta and started applying makeup for friends in high school. As I continued on through college, I started getting hired for weddings and events on the weekends. I believe that is when I truly realized my passion in life, and decided I was going to pursue it. After marrying the love of my life and moving to Tampa in 2009, I attended school and became a licensed esthetician. I worked in the spa industry for a few years, but wanted to focus more on hair and makeup. I loved working weddings and pampering blushing brides.

Since officially opening SMP Makeup Artistry in 2013, I have expanded from weddings and enjoy many aspects of the business. I enjoy production work, special events, editorial, and any opportunity to be creative.
